According to the structure and function, we can divide MQ series gantry crane into unidirectional and bidirectional. For unidirectional gantry hoist, it set fixed lifting mechanism in the rigid gantry frame. Gantry frame travel along dam orbit and its service unit is a line so it can only lift a list of the gate. Bidirectional gantry hoist installs trolley track in the gantry frame perpendicular to the hoist traveling. The trolley with lifting mechanism can move along the track. Therefore, bidirectional gantry hoist can lift lists of multi-column gate or trash rack between upstream and downstream.
Features
- Lifting mechanism operation is not freely suspended weights but moves up and down along the gate slot or around the hinge rotation gate.
- The hoist which starts the gate in moving water, its load is related to the dynamic water pressure caused by the change of gate opening.
- Especially for the long-span gate, we must maintain double lifting point synchronization when need double lifting point.
- The bigger the lifting capacity is, the slower the traveling and lifting speed are and the lower the work duty is. Generally, its speed is less than 4m/min.
